Success through Excellence: Encore Personnel Release Mobile Recruitment App
Encore has worked with KeyApps to bring candidates an easier way to find and apply for jobs via their mobile device.
Since 2002 Encore has grown to become one of the leading recruitment organisations in the UK. Founded by recruitment professional who have worked in their field since the 1980’s and offer an almost unmatched pedigree of expertise and understanding.
The launch of their new app – which was designed and developed by KeyApps – enables candidates to register and upload CVs; browse, search and apply for jobs, and keep up to date with the latest Encore news and Twitter feed. By downloading and storing Encore’s content and jobs, it allows the user to continue browsing the app even when no internet connection is available.
‘The app features Broadbean integration, which means that recruiters at Encore are free to post jobs as normal knowing that their mobile candidates will always have the most up-to-date content. Now that one in five job searches happen on a mobile device, it is essential that jobseekers looking to find their next job via their smartphone are met with a seamless experience,’ said Samantha Dawkins, Executive Administrative Assistant at KeyApps, regarding what goes on behind the scenes.
Creating a mobile app was highly supported by the Encore workforce, and Operations Director, Ray Matcalfe, commented on what their mobile presence means to them and their candidates:
‘Encore have invested in ‘The Encore App’. After extensive research we found that 84% of our workforce would like to see our vacancy list on mobile technology, and 73% felt they would benefit from mobile registration and communication. This enables Encore to engage more frequently with our candidate base and reduce recruitment time, giving a quicker response to our clients; another innovation from Encore. Better candidates plus better service equals better results.’
